What was the highlight of Hotel Valenca do Minho
Cozy stay
The staff were very friendly and allowed me to check in early with my huge suitcase. The room was large with a balcony and a beautiful view. There was a bath and shower option in the room. Breakfast included. Rooms were cleaned everyday.
The hotel could do with a little renovation, it was disappointing to see the current state of the outdoor swimming pool from the window (not that I’d use in the winter). My bedroom door kept getting stuck also (though in fairness I never raised this with the staff as I didn’t want to move room, I otherwise liked my room).

Booking mentioned that there would be a bathtub in the room, but on arrival it was not available. The staff mentioned that there is a choice usually, just not at the day when I visited.
